Most of our boats depart from Victoria Harbour Promenade in Docklands. Wharf directions are provided in your booking confirmation depending on the boat you book.

What are the catering options?

Every boat has its own menu.

There are generally 3 types of food menus: (1) BBQ Menu, (2) Canape/Platter Menu and (3) Buffet/Banquet Menu. Check out the boat profiles for the detailed menu options available on each vessel.

Most boats have alcohol licenses so they can provide beverage packages.

You can search for a boat using our filtering options depending on whether you want a food and beverage package or BYO.

What facilities do the boats have?

Our larger party boats are decked out with a dance floor, sound and lighting systems.

Our smaller boats are more casual loungy boats (these ones can travel far up the Yarra River under the low bridges for a full sightseeing experience).

All boats have music facilities sound systems onboard and the ability for you to play your own music playlists.

What are the entertainment options?

As an entertainment specialist, Get Loose gives you a wide range of options to customise your experience.

For Birthdays our DJ Hire and Live Entertainers such as Bongo Drummers, Saxophonists and Guitarists are popular.

For Bucks our Topless Waitresses and Female Strippers are pretty much essential!

For Hens Parties we suggest Topless Waiters, Male Strippers and Drag Queens.

For Christmas Parties, Karaoke is a popular team activity.

On the large function boats you can even add Belly Dancers, Brazilian Dancers, Burlesque Dancers and Photobooths.

We can also arrange Photographers.

What happens in bad weather?

Fortunately all our boats are sheltered so they are not affected by the rain. But we suggest you check the weather forecast so you’re prepared for travelling to and from the vessel.

How does the booking process work?

Ready to book? We’ll send you a booking confirmation and once you’ve paid a deposit the boat is locked in for you! The balance isn’t due until the week before the event, which gives you time to confirm the number of guests attending and make any changes to your package. We’ll also send you an itinerary the week of your cruise with an updated summary of your cruise, pick-up location and contact details of your skipper. On the day of your charter please arrive 10 minutes early for pick-up. We look forward to having you onboard one of our Melbourne party boats soon!
